Ask a clinic manager where the current TB test for a new hire is and you will often get three answers: in a folder, in an email thread, and somewhere in a spreadsheet only one person understands. Nothing about that is broken until the week before a survey — and then all of it is broken at once.
The work isn't complicated, it's relentless. Certifications expire on their own schedules, staff turn over, and every new document is another date to remember. Miss one, and the cost lands somewhere painful: a citation, a denied claim, an accreditation finding or an empty shift. That is a software problem, so we treated it like one: one record per credential, one document per record, and one reminder schedule that runs whether or not anybody remembers to run it.
credentracker is deliberately focused. It will never hold a patient chart, and it will never ask you to migrate your payroll. It keeps your workforce's credential file current — so when a surveyor, a hospital credentialing office or a new contract asks, the answer is an export rather than a weekend of phone calls.
